Sometime before twelve in the am. while sleeping. My calf muscle decided hey, as long as he's comfortable and asleep, let's cramp up on him and wake is silly butt up. I knew it was before twelve as when my calf muscle did it's thing, I opened my eyes and was staring at the alarm clock. I almost got out of bed when the muscle relaxed itself so I went back to sleep. Fast forward to three hours later, a half hour before my alarm is set to go off, my left thigh muscle decides to pull the same trick and and do the same thing to wake me up again. Depriving me of a half hour of sleep. No sense in trying to get more rest as the thigh muscle didn't want to relax itself like the calf muscle. ( anything you can do, I can do better ) Seemed to be the thigh muscles call. At present, the silly thing is still being a pain. Pun intended. I don't know what it was I did before going to sleep to cause this revolt in my lower left appendage. Not like I was out running a marathon before hitting the sack last night. It was quite the reverse in fact. After dinner I watched a movie and just chilled on the sofa. You'd think I'd be used to this sort of thing by now, what with all the rain we've been getting lately all the joints in my body have been aching to beat the band. Who needs a weatherman's forecast, or to go outside to tell you it's raining out when you have Arthritis? Not me. It must be a Revenge of the 5th thing with the muscles I suppose? With my joints taking center stage as it were because of the rain they were feeling left out. What the muscles and joint's don't realize is only by working together can they bring balance to the force... that is me.

Bummer. It’s bad enough having to deal with pain but sucks when it’s interrupting your sleep. Wonder if a call to your doctor is in order. Have you had leg cramps previously? Any changes to your medication? Make it a good day. I’m going to.

Cowboy gets leg and even groin cramps. He eats a banana every day. Drinks about 8 ounces of tonic water for the quinine in it. Recently he added magnesium to his supplements. That pretty much keeps him cramp free.
