From the thirty-first of last month are done, and have already been re rented. I spent the majority of last week going from unit to unit getting them done, then going back into them to clean up the mess left by the painters. A busy week to say the least. Two of the units need new carpeting ( the tenants had pets ) so both units had to have the old stuff ripped out ( yeah I did that job as well ) The carpet installers were suppose top get the new stuff laid this past weekend, so it's back into them today to clean up after them and get them ready for the new renters. I also did a unit hat had been tagged for eviction. By the time the PM had me post the place they guy still living there had moved out the day before. Aside from the damage done in there the place was pretty clean. As far as damage goes....well a kitchen cabinet door needs replaced, a shelf in the walk in pantry. Glass in the back door broken out, and holes punched in the walls need repaired. Doing that the dude must have had a sore hand afterwards. As plaster walls with metal lath will damage your hand when you punch them. Dumb ass. I see in the news that congress will address the issue of last week. Introducing articles of impeachment on the president. A first for the country, not the first time the congress has tried to impeach this president, but a first in the fact that no other president in our nations history has ever been impeached twice during their administration. It seems like a moot point impeaching him now with so little time left on the cock as it were, but then again there was talk of him trying to run for the office again in 2024. An impeached president can not stand again for office once impeached. No one wants a repeat of the events of last week so better to put the brakes on the guy now than having to deal with him and his BS later. Good news on the home front, the daughter has started her new job. Working as a care giver to people who've suffered brain injury's. It's not a medical related job per-say. More of a baby sitting job. She'll be there to help them when and if they need assistance doing daily things. Or just being close by to chat and keep company with them. The pay is good, and she'll be getting benefits so as I said..good news. Time for me to jump in the shower...well, step into one. No jumping...as I could barely get out of bed this morning.

Your daughter have a medical degree? Even so good pay and benefits isn't easy to find. I am an occupational therapist. The health care system sucks and I am sure she will be using her knowledge in a personal way. Which can be more rewarding than working at a hospital like I do now. Or nursing homes like I used to. It can be very frustrating and sad. As far as being sore you are busting ass. I'm not surprised. I worked as a carpenter for 15 years. I empathize with you. Although lifting patients sometimes isn't much easier. LOL

ScarletSophia We think alike. I have been trying to replace "have" a good day with "make" it a good day. Make a big difference. ;~)

Plaster over metal lathe? Ouch! That would hurt. I think they need to put tranquilizers in the DC water supply. they are all insane. Trump versus Pelosi is crazy and crazier. I want to get dozens of people out of there. They are crooked. On both sides
