personal stories - acid I remember back when I was living in the dorms at UMass. It was a new year and I had a new roommate. We started hanging out and really got into tripping on acid. But then he started getting really paranoid. And started flipping out. So I moved out and roomed with the guy next to us. His roommate had shacked up with a chick down the hall. So he helped me out. He was a really nice guy. We became good friends. That next semester my old roommate, the one that had flipped out, moved down to Southwest dorms. The towers as they were called. If UMass was a party school, then Southwest was party central. He ended up getting knifed in the stomach and barely survived. I remember meeting up with him by chance as I was walking to class. He greeted me with a smile and a handshake as if we were old friends. He was a changed man. Like he had some kind of life-changing experience. Okay so maybe you're thinking just another story. Right. But this isn't just another story. Look at what happened. What are the chances of me running into this guy again in life. 0 nada. The fact that I saw this guy again blows my mind. It's like life itself wanted me to see him again after he had this life-changing experience. To realize that he had changed into a different person. |
